Jennie Walker
Jennie Walker started her music career in Atlanta and Nashville. She was a finalist on the Budweiser Rock to Riches album, with her tune, Many Times. In 2006, she made her London debut at The Bedford and was chosen for international, cause-driven performances by the Rockefeller family for South Africa’s Salvation Army site in Soweto for abused/HIV/AIDS infected children as well as the Love Life Center’s Johannesburg facility. She even performed for Nelson Mandela’s wife, Graça Machel, on the beaches of Mozambique. Jennie is currently working with Grammy nominated producer/songwriter, Tommy Faragher (Keli Price, Taylor Dayne, Elvis Costello). She has appeared on top radio and TV programs such as New York’s WBAI, HOT 97.5 FM Atlanta, Good News Broadcasting, and Good Day Atlanta. Jennie’s single Simon was inspired by the life of photographer and boyfriend of model Petra Nemcova, who died tragically in the 2004 Tsunami disaster.
