In their early high school years, Jon Paul, aka JP and Adam Johnson were obsessed with the blues, sneaking into Denver clubs. One of their first gigs was opening for surf legend Dick Dale; JP was only 15 at the time. Soon after, the two blues brothers moved to New York to make it as a rock band. They joined forces with Matt Hogan & Aaron Stern, former drummer of Matchbook Romance. This collaboration resulted in their latest CD, This Road Before, which was co-produced by Aaron Johnson (The Fray) and famed producer David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus). God or Julie has opened for such national acts as Everclear and BuckCherry. They are currently on a national tour with Chevelle and Finger 11.
